Ljungeld
Where and when were you born? Vaasa, Finland in 1983.
What is your musical history? I started playing classical music on piano when I was really young. However, I changed my main instrument to guitar at the end of comprehensive school. During that time I became strongly attached to heavy metal music. But as the years went by and my playing skills advanced I got into more progressive, brutal and dark styles of metal. Now I like to mix many styles in my music: classical, experimental, industrial, metal etc. I started out composing with FT2, making synth songs inspired by Jean Michel Jarre. But when I got an electrical guitar I concentrated on making metal music. To this date I have officially released two albums in the genres of black/extreme metal and melodic death metal. I currently study music at polytechnic/university-level.
What are your musical plans for the future? Making lots of albums. I get so much song ideas that don't fit one band only. That creates the need for having different bands. I like playing live, so a world tour with any of my bands would be great. Teaching guitar is also a large part of my future plans..
What do you do on your free-time? Role-playing games, movies, being with friends.
